Haulpass Driver

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Haulpass Driver app handles personal and operational information.

Effective August 12, 2026

Information the Driver app collects

Account and contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, account identifier, and carrier affiliation.

Operational information you provide or create, including stops, facility details, arrival times, status updates, and messages exchanged with participating facilities.

Precise location while you are actively using location features in the Driver app. Haulpass does not request background or always-on location access.

Limited technical information generated by the app and its service providers, such as app version, request status, security records, and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure your account, review Driver access, display and update stops, calculate ETAs, support facility messaging, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability of Haulpass.

Haulpass does not sell personal information and does not use Driver information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

When information is shared

Facilities and their authorized team members may receive operational details connected to their stop, such as your name, carrier, ETA, stop status, and messages. They do not receive your Haulpass password.

We use service providers to operate Haulpass, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, database, and backend services; Google Maps services for address and route features; and SendGrid for transactional email. These providers process information for the services they perform for Haulpass.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and account deletion

You can request deletion from the Driver app by opening Menu, Settings, and Delete Account. The app requires you to confirm the request and verify your password. Your access is disabled when the request is accepted.

Haulpass deletes your Driver profile, sign-in account, messages, stops, and other account-linked records from active systems. Shared facility or carrier facts may remain when other users rely on them, but your Driver identity is removed. A minimal security record containing only an internal account identifier and deletion status is scheduled for automatic deletion after 24 hours to prevent an already-issued sign-in token from recreating or accessing data; lifecycle deletion may take additional time. Limited information may also remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or safety purposes, and is removed or de-identified under our normal retention process.

You may also contact [email protected] for privacy or deletion assistance. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on a request.

Your choices and security

You can decline location permission, though ETA and location-dependent features may not work. You can review and update certain account information in the app or contact Support for help.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so never send your password or verification code to Support.

Children and policy updates

Haulpass Driver is a business operations app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date.
